SmartAVI, Inc. Announces Lucio Fayh as Vice President of SmartAVI Brazil

Fayh to Oversee Daily Operations and Maintain Client/Business Relations Throughout South America

BURBANK, CA (August 3, 2009) SmartAVI, Inc., a world-leading innovator in the fields of digital content creation, management and delivery solutions through hardware and software, today announced the appointment of Lucio Fayh as Vice President of SmartAVI, Brazil, the company’s South American counterpart.

Fayh has been acting Country Manager in Brazil on behalf of Applica™, which SmartAVI, Inc. is a new division of in Burbank, California. With the growth of SmartAVI into South America and its new partnership with Brazilian company AÇÃO Informática in the region, it was clear that there needed to be a clear management presence there as well to oversee its daily operations.

In addition to presiding as Vice President for SmartAVI, Brazil’s daily operations, Fayh will also be responsible for maintaining and growing the company’s business partners, distributors and new client relations throughout South America.
